Bob Luck moved back to Minneapolis in 2017 after having spent 18 of the previous 25 years in Japan pursuing a career in international business, first for Twin-Cities based Tennant Company and later for IDEXX Laboratories. He now spends most of his time outdoors—bicycling, skiing, hiking, and trout fishing. He has spent a couple of months each winter in Japan since returning to Minnesota, excluding 2021-22  when the Pandemic put a crimp in his plans.  He recently published a book on hiking and hot springs near Tokyo. He ’d love to talk with you if you are interested in skiing, hiking, or fishing in Japan.

Bob has been on the JASM Board since 2018.  He has led our Membership Committee for much of that time and has gotten to know many of our members through his outreach efforts. He was also involved in setting up our new website and membership management system.
